New leadership appointment enhances experience and customer engagement to continue AFNA’s legacy of innovation and progress
Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC), a worldwide authority in sustainable packaging solutions, has named Scott Fallon as President of Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA), effective immediately. He takes over from Larry Weber, who is retiring after an impressive tenure of over 33 years with the company.
Fallon has been part of Amcor for six years, most recently holding the role of Vice President and General Manager for Protein within AFNA and Amcor Global Flexible Packaging Solutions. In this position, he spearheaded the acquisition of Moda Systems, which specializes in cutting-edge automated protein packaging machinery, thereby enhancing Amcor’s footprint in the global fresh meat sector. With over 25 years of experience managing intricate global manufacturing operations, including roles at SABIC and GE Plastics, Fallon has established a solid reputation for driving growth through his in-depth knowledge of materials science, as well as his experiences across engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
As president, Fallon is set to guide AFNA into its next phase, promoting a culture of growth, nurturing customer partnerships, and advancing innovative packaging solutions in crucial markets.
“Scott is a proactive, outcome-focused leader with a comprehensive understanding of our customers and business,” remarked Ryan Yost, Division President of Global Flexible Packaging Solutions. “Having served on AFNA’s management team for the last six years, he has been instrumental in achieving the strong performance of this business group. I appreciate the continuity in leadership and the strategic insight he brings.”
Fallon remarked, “Each phase has led us to this moment. AFNA has navigated significant advancements in materials science, transformed its portfolio, and now aims for enterprise growth. With a dedicated team, robust foundation, and clear strategy, we’ve sharpened our focus on customer needs and team dynamics.”
