In an exciting development for the food manufacturing industry, Taylors Snacks has partnered with Marks & Spencer (M&S) to introduce the new ‘Extreme Ridge’ crisp range. This innovative line will be launched in 900 M&S stores and features crisps that are cut thinner and possess a tighter ridge, which delivers a “lighter, crispier bite.”
To enhance production and support this launch, Taylors has created 30 new jobs at its facility in Errol, further boosting the local economy.
‘Exciting milestone’
James Taylor, managing director of Taylors Snacks, remarked: “Creating this range with M&S has been an exciting milestone for our business. From initial discussions to perfecting the product, our teams have worked terrifically together to deliver a delicious new snack selection.“
“We’re incredibly proud of the quality of the Extreme Ridge crisps and the positive impact this partnership has had on growing our Errol facility.”
The Extreme Ridge crisps come in six enticing flavors: Four Cheese and Onion, Sizzling Steak, Smoky Paprika, Salt and Double Vinegar, Ready Salted, and Chicken Curry. This variety showcases Taylors’ commitment to meeting consumer preferences in the food manufacturing sector.
Rachel Rankine, regional manager for M&S in North Scotland, stated: “Our partnership with Scottish supplier Taylors Snacks has allowed us to launch the new ‘Extreme Ridge’ crisp range, delivering delicious flavours and great quality that our customers can rely on for trusted value.”
Lidl Partnership
Notably, the announcement of Taylors Snacks’ collaboration with M&S follows closely behind their recent introduction of exclusive crisp flavors in Lidl stores. This new range includes Fiery Pickled Onion Ridge Cut, Chip Shop Curry Sauce Ridge Cut, and Blazin’ BBQ Straight Cut, all of which will be available in Lidl GB outlets as of April 3.
This strategic expansion aims to capitalize on the rising consumer demand for bolder snack options and nostalgic British takeaway flavors, further solidifying Taylors’ presence in the competitive food manufacturing market.
