Tindle Foods, a Singapore-based meat-free supplier, is expanding into dairy-free beverages, targeting the US market. The company, known for its alternative meat products available in ten countries, is introducing Barista Oat Milk at the Expo West trade show in California. The business plans to provide “further details” on the product’s “roll-out” by late 2024.

Having already secured retail listings for its faux-meat products at chains like Giant Eagle and Price Chopper, the US is a key market for Tindle Foods along with Germany and the UK. Last year, the company broadened its portfolio by acquiring UK alt-dairy start-up Mwah!, showcasing its commitment to growth and diversification.

Since its establishment four years ago as Next Gen Foods, now operating under the Tindle brand, the company has raised $120m. In a strategic move, Tindle Foods recently sold a stake to German media group ProSiebenSat.1, ensuring a strong financial position for future endeavors.

In a leadership transition, Timo Recker reassumed the CEO role, succeeding co-founder Andre Menezes who stepped down. Recker, also the executive chairman, brings extensive experience from previous ventures in the plant-based meat sector, including the sale of his former company, LikeMeat, to The Livekindly Collective.

Looking ahead, Tindle Foods continues to innovate and expand its presence in the food and beverage industry. As the company evolves, its focus remains on delivering high-quality plant-based products to meet the evolving consumer trends in the market. Stay tuned for more updates from this exciting player in the food and drink industry.
