Lotus Bakeries is unveiling a new packaging design that aims to enhance customer brand recognition and emphasize their core product, Biscoff. With a cleaner and more visually appealing look, the packaging prominently showcases the Biscoff brand in a larger font, while the Lotus marque takes on a supporting role as an endorsement.

According to Frances Booth, the category development and marketing manager at Lotus Bakeries, the strategic decision to highlight Biscoff on the packaging is driven by consumer behavior. Booth states, “Most consumers regularly refer to the brand simply as Biscoff. By placing a greater focus on Biscoff, we can immediately capture the customer’s attention in-store.”

The rollout of this rebranding initiative will commence with the sweet spreads and biscuit packaging and subsequently extend to ice cream and confectionery products later in the year.

This packaging transformation emphasizes Lotus Bakeries’ commitment to staying relevant in a competitive market. The redesigned packaging, featuring a prominent Biscoff logo, is set to captivate shoppers and solidify brand recognition. With this bold move, Lotus Bakeries aims to establish a stronger connection between the packaging and the product, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.
