Carlsberg Britvic is introducing a new line of Pepsi Zero Sugar Ice Cream flavors, aiming to tap into the increasing consumer demand for nostalgic and indulgent soft drink options while injecting new energy into the flavored cola market.
The new offerings consist of Cherry & Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple, and Salted Caramel, each crafted to replicate the delightful tastes of classic ice cream parlors while providing a lighter, sugar-free alternative. According to the company, this product line was created in response to the growing popularity of “treat-like” soft drinks—a trend that has gained traction in both convenience stores and grocery outlets as consumers look for affordable ways to indulge.
These new flavors will be available starting mid-July in 8-can multipacks, 500ml bottles (including price-marked versions), and 330ml single units for select flavors.
To promote this launch, Carlsberg Britvic is hosting a retailer-focused summer competition through its platform, At Your Convenience, offering three prizes of £250 experience days to enhance engagement and boost visibility during the busy trading season.
As the leading multi-beverage supplier in the UK, the company is emphasizing flavor innovation as a crucial strategy for driving category growth. The Ice Cream Trio is expected to expand Pepsi’s appeal, encourage impulse buying, and enhance the brand’s visibility in a competitive summer landscape where flavored colas are increasingly surpassing traditional varieties.
