Polytag, a developer of unique QR codes that unlock new marketing opportunities, has partnered with award-winning kombucha manufacturer Conwy Kombucha Ltd, the creators of Blighty Booch. This collaboration will enable Blighty Booch to increase direct-to-consumer sales and enhance communication with customers through the use of innovative QR codes.
Giving Every Product a Voice
Starting in October 2023, Blighty Booch will feature Polytag’s GS1-approved, unique-every-time QR codes on its product labels. These codes are applied through a digital printing process using SCREEN technology at Limpet Labels in Wrexham. When scanned, the QR codes direct consumers to customisable, branded landing pages created on the Blighty Booch dashboard.
With the unique-every-time QR codes, each product gains its own voice. Blighty Booch can tailor messages to different consumer groups or product ranges, which can be updated or amended at any time through their dashboard hosted on the Polytag platform.
By scanning the QR codes, the brand can provide consumers with information about the product’s health benefits, details on its naturally fermented Kombucha, latest offers, recycling advice, or even direct them to Blighty Booch’s online shop.
Invaluable Customer Insights
This partnership will also grant Blighty Booch access to valuable consumer insights that can shape the brand’s future marketing strategies. Polytag’s platform will provide previously unseen information about consumption patterns and regional sales data based on QR code scans and post-purchase customer interactions with the brand.
By partnering with Polytag and employing unique-every-time QR codes, Blighty Booch aims to enhance customer engagement and increase sales across its product ranges.
Mark Pavey, Director at Blighty Booch, commented:
“We are thrilled to join forces with Polytag and benefit from its exciting technology. This not only provides consumers with detailed product information on their phones but also gives us an additional direct-to-consumer sales and marketing channel. The unique-every-time QR codes truly revolutionize the way brands are presented to consumers. We are excited to see how they complement our existing marketing efforts.”
Alice Rackley, CEO at Polytag, added:
“At Polytag, we believe in the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change. By closely working with Blighty Booch and understanding their challenges, we have been able to help them open up a whole new marketing channel with our unique-every-time QR codes.
“These codes provide Blighty Booch an opportunity to directly communicate with consumers about their products, ingredients, health benefits, and more. Furthermore, the easy-to-create bespoke landing page allows the company to direct consumers straight to their online shop. It’s a win-win for both businesses and their customers.”
Limpet Labels UK Ltd, a specialist in digital and flexographic labels, supplied the labelling for this project. The company’s ability to produce high-quality labels in-house made it the preferred choice for both Polytag and Blighty Booch when collaborating on this project.
Nathan Williams, Operations Manager at Limpet Labels, concluded:
“By partnering with Polytag, we can offer Blighty Booch an innovative QR code solution that provides valuable marketing and sustainable insights on their products. Furthermore, this solution is easy to integrate and requires minimal input from the customer. We look forward to offering this exciting solution to more businesses in the near future.”
