Celebrating their 20th anniversary, Northumbrian Gifts offers a diverse selection of authentic, high-quality items from the local area, including beer, wine, cider, spirits, and local produce.
The packaging design showcases a wrap-around historical map and imagery of Northumbria, created from 180cc/120bk e-flute and digitally printed on Durham Box’s Nozomi C18000 digital press. With a tuck-in top closure, the design not only demonstrates the technical capabilities of the digital press but also aligns with Northumbrian Gifts’ sustainability goals by being fully recyclable.
Incorporating the ancient map into the design while retaining all significant details presented a unique challenge that Durham Box successfully overcame, showcasing their meticulous attention to detail. Katrina Wanless, the business owner of Northumbrian Gifts, expressed her satisfaction with the finished packaging, stating that it is visually appealing and multi-functional, resonating well with customers who have provided overwhelmingly positive feedback.
