British frozen food company Nomad Foods recently announced the appointment of Steven Libermann as the group executive president. Libermann, who brings a wealth of experience from his time at Nestlé, will be responsible for driving profitable growth across the company’s various channels.
Having joined Nomad Foods in 2015 through the Findus acquisition, Libermann has steadily climbed the ranks within the organization. He has led the company’s Southern Europe region since 2018 and took on additional responsibilities for the UK & Ireland business and global sales in January 2023. By July 2023, he was appointed as the executive president for FBN (France, Belgium, Netherlands), Southern Europe, UK & Ireland, and global sales.
Nomad Foods, known for brands like Birds Eye, Findus, Iglo, Ledo, and Frekom, has been at the forefront of the frozen food industry in Europe. Stéfan Descheemaeker, CEO of Nomad Foods, expressed his excitement about Libermann’s extended role within the company. Descheemaeker highlighted Libermann’s integral role in Nomad Foods’ growth over the past nine years, emphasizing his contribution to establishing the company as a leader in the frozen food sector.
The extension of Libermann’s role is seen as a strategic move to focus on driving growth across all markets, further developing the frozen food category, and strengthening partnerships with commercial collaborators. This expansion aims to broaden Nomad Foods’ reach and impact, ensuring that their iconic brands and products continue to resonate with families across the globe.
