These tongue-tingling Ghost Chilli & Yuzu, spicy and tangy Jerk Sauce, and mild and moreish Katsu Curry flavors draw inspiration from popular global cuisines as consumers seek out bold and punchy flavors.
Research conducted by Proper Snacks indicates that consumers prioritize taste when looking for healthier snack options, but many products on the market fall short in delivering that balance. The new Properchips aim to fill this gap by offering bold and diverse flavor options that cater to health-conscious individuals without compromising on taste.
The new Properchips chickpea range boasts being under 100 calories per serving and is HFSS compliant. Additionally, each pack is vegan, gluten-free, and seasoned with natural flavors, appealing to a wide range of dietary preferences.
Proper Snacks has seen stellar growth in its Properchips lentil range, with a notable increase of 40% in the latest month and a 22% growth year over year. The brand’s commitment to innovation and flavor diversity has positioned it as a leader in the industry.
In a nod to Proper’s playful personality, the new Properchips packaging features illustrations by independent artist Ewa Lefmann, with each pack showcasing its own unique ‘extra’ flavor character. The vibrant visual elements and bold typography bring an element of excitement to the Better-For-You (BFY) category.
The Properchips range is currently available in sharing bags at Asda, with plans to roll out to Waitrose, Ocado, and Sainsbury’s in April. Grab bag options will also be launched in May, expanding accessibility to these innovative snack choices.
