Freixenet recently unveiled an exciting new duo of French sparkling wines.
Building on its successful revitalization of the global prosecco segment, Freixenet now leverages its 150 years of winemaking excellence to introduce two captivating wines from France, a venture designed to “enchant a new generation of celebrators.”
Introducing Freixenet Brut Royal and Rosé Royal, these sparkling wines are showcased in striking, haute couture-inspired packaging.
Crafted from the finest grapes, these delicate, crisp wines embody Freixenet’s Mediterranean essence while seamlessly blending with French sophistication.
The launch is supported by a campaign that transports audiences to the sun-kissed French Riviera, where “sophistication meets joie de vivre.”
Freixenet Brut Royal
Made from carefully selected grapes sourced from the Southwest of France, Freixenet Brut Royal showcases the ideal conditions for growing Chardonnay and Colombard. This combination yields a high aromatic intensity, featuring delightful notes of stone and tropical fruits, along with hints of orange blossom and wildflowers.
At the dining table, Freixenet Brut Royal pairs exquisitely with various appetizers including clams in green sauce, cheese and walnut stuffed mushrooms, homemade French fries, and lightly spicy starters. It also complements main dishes such as sea bass fillet with peas and fennel, lemon spaghetti with broccoli, salmon en croûte, as well as grilled lobster and Greek cuisine.
Notably, Freixenet Brut Royal has already received a GOLD medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (Sparkling Edition).
Freixenet Rosé Royal
Meanwhile, Freixenet Rosé Royal offers a refreshing experience with balanced acidity and a hint of sweetness. It presents aromatic notes of roses, violets, and tropical fruits such as lychees and apricots.
On the palate, its excellent acidity contrasts beautifully with the slightly sweet flavors. The bubbles enhance the experience without overpowering, while a creaminess adds a distinctive “wine-like” character to this sparkler.
For appetizers, Rosé Royal pairs wonderfully with watermelon gazpacho topped with ham shavings, tuna and avocado tartare, or a fresh salad featuring tomatoes, burrata, and pomegranate. As for main dishes, it complements grilled spring vegetables with romesco sauce, fresh pasta stuffed with eggplant and goat cheese, cod-stuffed peppers au gratin, and grilled red shrimp with a sprinkle of salt.
This enticing pair of French Sparkling Wines became available in August at Tesco in the UK, with a recommended retail price of £13.
