The beverages brand is strategically targeting the hospitality sector, offering a convenient carton that can be easily served behind the bar.
Each 1-litre carton provides 6-8 servings and boasts a robust 12-month shelf life. This aligns with current food and drink consumer trends that prioritize convenience and efficiency.
Lorna MacPherson-Johnston, food & beverage director at Cubitt House, expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “We at Cubitt are incredibly happy to be working with Bloody and using the Tetra Paks across the estate.”
She further emphasized the advantages, noting, “The main benefits for me are that speed of service and portion size are much easier to control and they reduce waste. Additionally, the sustainability and packaging reduction makes total sense given the volume of juice we go through.” This reflects a growing focus on food and drink sustainability within the industry.
Bloody highlights that the use of Tetra Paks significantly reduces carbon emissions, achieving just a third of the carbon footprint produced by traditional plastic alternatives. Furthermore, with a 97% recyclability rate in the UK, Tetra Paks stand out as the most sustainable packaging choice currently available in the market.
