DAT Announces Expansion of Leadership Team, Including New CEO announces, CEO, DAT, growth, Role Food and Beverage Business

DAT Freight & Analytics has appointed Jeff Clementz as CEO. Clementz, who joined DAT in 2023 as CPO, will oversee this role until a new CPO has been hired. Bringing 25 years of experience managing networks, marketplaces, payments, and e-commerce platforms, Clementz previously held leadership positions at Shift, Walmart, PayPal, eBay, and Intel.

In other news, DAT has announced that CFO Tony Salazar has taken on expanded responsibilities as COO. Salazar, who joined DAT in 2018 after serving at Intel, has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, focusing on strategic planning, revenue optimization, operations management, and financial analysis.

Moving on, Brian Gorton, president of Conrail, has named Daniel Dwyer, Esq. as General Counsel. Dwyer, with over 25 years of legal experience, particularly in the railroad industry, will oversee all legal matters within Conrail. Prior to joining Conrail, Dwyer spent eight years at SEPTA and 22 years in private practice, developing expertise in contract, real estate, and litigation law.

Lastly, Target Corporation has made updates to its leadership team, appointing Christina Hennington as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer and Rick Gomez as Chief Commercial Officer. Lisa Roath, Target’s Chief Marketing Officer, will transition to Chief Merchandising Officer of food, essentials, and beauty in early 2025. Target is currently conducting an external search for its next Chief Marketing Officer.
