DLG Announces Winners of the International FoodTec Award 2027
The DLG (German Agricultural Society), in partnership with Anuga FoodTec and leading industry media, has named the recipients of the 2027 International FoodTec Award. An international panel of experts selected 21 pioneering projects from companies operating across the global food technology and supplier sectors.
Five innovations received the award in gold, while 16 earned silver recognition. The winning companies represent eight European countries and demonstrate the continued strength of innovation across the food and beverage industry. The awards will be presented on February 23, 2027, during Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. Further details about the recipients and their technologies are available at www.foodtecaward.com.
The International FoodTec Award honors advanced solutions that improve innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency in food and beverage production. Every three years, the DLG evaluates submissions through a detailed, technically demanding process. The jury includes researchers, academics, and industry specialists who assess developments shaping food manufacturing trends, food processing technology, and broader food and drink industry innovation.
Gold medals go to products and services based on new technological approaches that create a new process or deliver a substantial improvement to an existing one. Silver medals recognize established products that have been technically enhanced to produce a significant improvement in their current application or process.
