Holmen Elevate stands as the lightest kraftliner available, offered in weights of 72, 82, and 92 gsm. This kraftliner excels in e-commerce, shelf-ready, and food and drink packaging applications—where sustainability and performance are paramount.
“Holmen Elevate combines low weight with high strength properties and has industry-leading sustainability performance,” says Lars Lundin, CEO of Holmen Board and Paper. “It enables packaging producers to reduce material consumption and emissions without compromising on quality.”
Manufactured at Braviken Paper Mill in Sweden, Holmen Elevate boasts one of the lowest carbon footprints in the sector. Its CO₂ emissions are 80% below the European average for the board and paper industry*. The product is crafted from fresh fibers sourced from sustainably managed forests. Moreover, the mill employs a resource-efficient supply chain, utilizing pulpwood and wood chips from Holmen’s adjacent sawmill.
“This marks an important step in our strategy to grow within the containerboard market,” says Tommy Wiksand, Business Development Director at Holmen Board and Paper. “Holmen Elevate meets current market demands and supports future requirements for cost-efficient solutions and low climate impact.”
