Glenfiddich’s redesign is rooted in rich storytelling and takes inspiration from its groundbreaking releases of the 1960s. During this pivotal era, the brand played a crucial role in establishing Single Malt Scotch Whisky as an international spirits category, embodying a legacy of excellence.

At the heart of the refreshed design is the iconic stag. This emblem has graced the bottle since the 1960s and draws its inspiration from Sir Edwin Landseer’s renowned 1851 painting, The Monarch of the Glen. The connection to heritage is evident, enhancing Glenfiddich’s commitment to food and drink sustainability.

The redesigned stag captures the essence of Glenfiddich’s Speyside landscape, showcasing both depth and organic movement. This refined representation mirrors the character of the whisky and is elegantly framed by the distillery’s founding year of 1887, reinforcing its historical narrative in food and drink marketing.

Will Peacock, global brand managing director of William Grant & Sons, stated: “With Glenfiddich’s design evolution, we are pleased to reveal a refreshed look that honours the past of this 139-year-old whisky while celebrating a timeless modernity. This latest transformation reflects Glenfiddich’s living legacy as a British luxury icon while setting the scene for its next chapter.” By embracing sustainable packaging, Glenfiddich aligns with modern food and drink consumer trends, ensuring its relevance in today’s market.
