Welsh organizations have been revealed as sponsors for the food and drink trade fair BlasCymru/TasteWales, which will take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales, Newport, on 25th-26th October. This will be the fourth trade show under the Welsh Government’s Food and Drink Wales banner.
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by a series of organizations including Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) – Meat Promotion Wales, Food Innovation Wales, Castell Howell Foods, AMRC, Cambrian Training, Rachel’s Dairy, Puffin Produce, BIC Innovation, Development Bank of Wales, and Azets.
Food Innovation Wales, represented by Martin Jardine of the Food Technology Centre in Anglesey, is excited to support BlasCymru/TasteWales once again. Jardine shared, “We are delighted to see so many of our clients showcasing their fantastic products at the event. Many of these Welsh food and drink businesses are benefiting from the Welsh Government funded “Project HELIX” which aims to drive efficiency and innovation in the Welsh food and drink industry until March 2025. This project provides comprehensive business support services to manufacturers across Wales through the Strategic Innovation Scheme.”
