Wilde Brands, a US-based manufacturer of high-protein crisps, has recently secured a $20 million investment to support its distribution efforts. This investment will be utilized to expand retail presence, enhance marketing strategies, and explore new product innovations. The company aims to double its business in 2024.

The funding round was led by private-equity group KarpReilly and Wilde board member, Bill Moses. Other notable investors include The Family Fund & Founder Community, Pharmavite, Koia, Machine Gun Kelly, and Jack Harlow. Wilde Brands has stated that there are no immediate plans for another fundraiser.

Established in 2015, the Nashville-headquartered company produces a range of high-protein crisps using chicken breast, egg whites, and bone broth instead of potatoes. With a portfolio of seven varieties including sea salt & vinegar, buffalo chicken, barbeque, and spicy queso, the products are manufactured at the company-owned processing plant in Lexington, Kentucky.

Wilde Brands’ products are distributed to various retailers across the US, including Whole Foods, Target, Sprouts, Costco, and Walmart. The company’s primary sales channels are retail and e-commerce, with a significant presence on platforms like Amazon.

CEO Jason Wright expressed gratitude for the support from retail partners and highlighted the remarkable growth the business has experienced, doubling in size annually for the past three years. Looking ahead to 2024, Wilde Brands anticipates another year of substantial growth.

In conclusion, the investment injection will enable Wilde Brands to further expand its market reach, introduce new product offerings, and continue its upward trajectory in the high-protein snacks industry.
