Bansk Group has reached an agreement to acquire a majority ownership in the US wellness brand So Good So You, further solidifying its commitment to purpose-driven consumer products. Specific financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
Established in 2014 in Minneapolis by Rita Katona and Eric Hall, So Good So You specializes in organic, cold-pressed shots made from fruits and vegetables, infused with probiotics, vitamins, and adaptogens. The brand has successfully carved a niche in the expanding “food as medicine” sector, appealing to consumers who prioritize health-oriented and convenient offerings.
Under the terms of the deal, Katona and Hall will maintain their equity stakes and continue contributing at the board level, while existing investor Prelude Growth Partners will divest its minority interest.
Bansk, which oversees over $5 billion in assets, stated that this investment aligns with its strategy to back distinctive brands within the food and beverage, personal care, and health industries. The firm noted the appealing product performance, flavor variety, and brand positioning as key reasons driving this acquisition.
The newly secured investment is anticipated to facilitate enhanced distribution, product innovation, and expanded marketing efforts as the brand aims to reach a wider audience.
So Good So You is recognized as a certified B Corporation and operates a zero-waste manufacturing facility powered by renewable energy, making sustainability an essential aspect of its business model.
In addition to its flagship refrigerated wellness shots, the company has ventured into related categories, including plant-based sparkling energy drinks.
