Pulp Cider Unveils Exclusive Limited Edition Halloween Flavor Food and Beverage Business

An independent cider maker has introduced a new product: ‘Caramelised Apple Cider’. This offering is described as “bewitchingly smooth, buttery and sweet”, catering to current food and beverage industry trends focused on unique flavor profiles.

With a 3.4% ABV, the cider comes in 500ml bottles, now available on the Pulp Cider website and through select independent distributors. The UK retail price ranges from £2.79 to £2.99 and will be offered for a limited time this autumn, showcasing food distribution trends that emphasize seasonal availability.

“At Pulp, we’re all about fun and playfulness, and we simply couldn’t resist releasing this tasty limited edition flavour for Halloween,” stated Susan Vaughan, director at Pulp Cider. This aligns with the broader food and drink marketing strategies aimed at capturing consumer interest during festive periods.

“Autumn is simply bursting with flavourful opportunities and we hope Pulp fans and cider drinkers alike enjoy tasting this nightmarish nectar.” The focus on seasonal flavors reflects ongoing innovation within the food and drink industry.

Every cider produced by Pulp Cider is crafted within five miles of their family farm in Herefordshire, where seven generations of farming expertise inform their processes. This commitment highlights the intersection of food and drink sustainability and traditional methods.

Pulp Cider manages 200 acres of commercial apple orchards, establishing itself as one of the UK’s largest single-estate, self-sustaining cider producers. The team nurtures eight varieties of cider apples, ensuring high-quality ingredients that resonate with food manufacturing trends focused on quality sourcing.

Only apples grown on the family farm are used in Pulp Cider productions, which exemplifies their small-batch, craft cider approach. This strategy underscores the importance of food processing technology in creating premium products.

Recently, Food Manufacture highlighted various launches ahead of Halloween, illustrating emerging food and drink consumer trends.

These include seasonal offerings such as spooky wines from 19 Crimes, a refreshed Hames Halloween chocolate range, and limited-edition loaves from Soreen, all of which showcase current food and drink industry innovation.
