What financial packages or credit terms do you offer? Credit options are available based on specific criteria.

Minimum length of contract: Our contracts have a minimum term of five years.

Do you offer a trading area agreement? Yes, we provide trading area exclusivity within a radius ranging from half to one mile, depending on the location (city/rural).

Minimum drop requirement: In order to make a delivery, a minimum order of £750 is required.

What options do retailers have for ordering goods? At Parfetts, we continuously invest in our operations to offer retailers a reliable, easy-to-use, and secure ordering experience. Currently, we provide cash and carry, click and collect, as well as delivery services.

Over 5,000 customers visit our depots or order online from us every week. 40% of retailers choose to order online, benefitting from the same offers available in-store. However, please note that trade week events are exclusive to our cash and carry service.

How many own-label lines do you have listed and what are the own-label ranges? Our own-label range consists of 150 product lines, with additional lines in development.

What arrangements do you have for fresh produce and chilled and frozen foods?

We offer Eden Farm drop shipment services, as well as a selection of chilled and frozen ranges available at our depot.

How many of your retailers have EPoS and how do you encourage them to take on new technology packages? We work closely with retailers to highlight the benefits of EPoS systems. For those who use our delivery service, we encourage them to engage with our app and website, which simplifies the ordering process.

Do you invest in consumer advertising? Every promotion we run is supported by a comprehensive social media campaign, which includes price promotions and valuable content.

What promotions do you offer? We have a wide range of regular promotions, including weekly manager’s specials and six trade weeks per year. Additionally, we offer three-weekly promotions with over 120 products, as well as everyday low-priced lines that provide increased value and margin. These promotions cover key products and are available during any promotional period.

What category management help can you provide? Our dedicated team of 40 retail development advisors are available to provide comprehensive category management assistance.

What other support measures for retailers have you introduced recently and what do you plan to introduce in the near future? Parfetts is committed to enhancing business performance, margins, and footfall for our retailers. Accordingly, we offer a range of added-value services, such as free fascia membership, free delivery, free consumer leaflets (including print and distribution), free EPoS, free marketing support, and more. As an employee-owned company, we do not impose surcharges for delivery or complicated rebate criteria. Furthermore, we continually strive to introduce measures that benefit our members.

Why should an independent retailer join your group? At Parfetts, we prioritize protecting our retailers’ margins, especially during these challenging times. We actively increase the number of promotions and ensure that each promotion offers excellent offers, delivering great margins across all key products.
