Based in South London, the husband-and-wife team behind MOMO Kombucha has launched its latest product: Watermelon Kombucha, priced at £4.50 per 330ml glass bottle, in collaboration with Natoora.
MOMO’s unfiltered kombucha harmoniously blends with Sentinel Watermelon, offering a delightful burst of sweet, fruity flavor that is expertly balanced by the tangy notes of kombucha. The Sentinel Watermelon is cultivated by Oscar Zerbinati in Mantua, Northern Italy, a region famous for its melon production. The Zerbinati family is celebrated for their exceptional growing techniques. Each watermelon, which can weigh up to 18kg, is carefully nurtured to ensure that the plant focuses all its energy on producing a single, luscious fruit. By strategically limiting water intake, Oscar enhances the melon’s access to nutrients found in the mineral-rich clay soils, resulting in dense, flavorful flesh.
MOMO asserts that this may be their lightest and most refreshing kombucha to date, highlighting the exceptional quality of both the ingredients and the kombucha itself. With its juicy sweetness, this watermelon-infused kombucha is perfect for summer enjoyment. It’s an ideal companion for picnics, barbecues, or even after a sweltering commute on the tube.
Josh Puddle, founder of MOMO Kombucha, expresses his enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Natoora for the third year running on our Zerbinati’s Watermelon Kombucha. The expertly grown watermelons are incredibly sweet and juicy, pairing beautifully with our tangy kombucha to create a refreshing and delicious flavor that’s become a much-anticipated fan favorite each summer. We’re also proud to support Natoora’s Farm Fund through this partnership, a fantastic organization supporting young farmers committed to agroecological methods.”
