Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co, a renowned brewery, has recently introduced a new beer called Nectar, which boasts a Pilsner style infused with British honey. This delightful beer has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.5% and has been expertly brewed using authentic Pilsner malt. To enhance its flavor, a traditional blend of Saaz and Hallertau Blanc hops has been incorporated. Nectar offers a clean, classic Pilsner taste profile, enriched with hints of gooseberry, wild flowers, and a touch of honey.
Unveiled in a 440ml can, Nectar becomes the first beer from Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co to be canned for retail purposes. This follows their recent launch of a range of session-strength sparkling mead also available in cans. The honey-infused Pilsner will be accessible throughout the United Kingdom via various specialist drinks and artisan food distributors, as well as directly through the Hive Mind website.
Co-founder of Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co, Kit Newell, expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition, stating, “When developing our honey beers, we always begin with a classically brewed authentic style. Pilsner was the perfect choice to introduce a lighter lager-style to our summer collection. With a subtle sweetness that harmonizes with the malt, the honey adds delightful wildflower notes, which beautifully complement the Pilsner hops.”
