BA partners with Made for Drink for successful launch

Food and Drink Technology

In an exciting development for fine snacking enthusiasts, Made for Drink has announced a renewed collaboration with British Airways (BA), a partnership that had been put on hold due to the unexpected arrival of Covid-19 in 2020. This milestone not only represents a memorable achievement for both brands but also signifies the fulfillment of long-awaited plans to join forces in delivering quality, authentic, and unmistakably British snacks to travelers.

Founder of Made for Drink, Dan Featherstone, expressed his team’s burning ambition to restore the brand’s hospitality and travel profile to its former glory. Their patience has paid off with the introduction of an improved short-haul arrangement, covering all flights of eight hours and under departing from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, which amounts to approximately 3,000 weekly flights. British Airways has come onboard not only to promote Made for Drink’s flagship Chorizo Thins but also three English Heritage lines, namely Baron Bigod, Dorset Sea Salt, and Malt Vinegar & Sea Salt. This collaboration will not only raise awareness for delectable Suffolk brie and hand-harvested salt from Chesil beach but also contribute to the urgent conservation funds for English Heritage’s vast 400-site estate.

Made for Drink proudly upholds its commitment to using the finest ingredients and championing the English artisanal craft. Founder Dan Featherstone expressed his gratitude at being selected by British Airways, recognizing the airline’s dedication to supporting the thriving craft food and drink scene on our Island.

To sum up, this renewed partnership between Made for Drink and British Airways is an incredible testament to the shared values and commitment to excellence between the two brands. Travelers can now enjoy a range of exquisite snacks, including Baron Bigod Cheese & Onion Crisps, Dorset Sea Salt Crisps, Malt Vinegar & Sea Salt Crisps, and the beloved Chorizo Thins. This collaboration not only elevates the travel experience but also contributes to the preservation of English Heritage sites across the country.

By aligning their strengths and values, Made for Drink and British Airways are poised to deliver unparalleled snacking experiences to discerning travelers, all while promoting the rich tapestry of British culinary craftsmanship.
