Nestlé is poised to fully take over yfood Labs from its original creators following a three-year partnership.

yfood, a leading smart food brand in Europe, specializes in offering ready-to-drink meals that are nutritionally balanced, catering primarily to markets in Germany and across Europe. Their products reach consumers in 30 countries and are available at over 50,000 retail outlets.

In 2025, the company’s sales are projected to reach around EUR 150 million, showcasing a robust year-on-year growth in the double digits.

As yfood gears up for its next growth phase, it is looking to extend its market reach beyond Europe, indicating an ambitious vision for the future.

Nestlé has maintained a 49% minority share in yfood since 2023. The remaining equity held by the founding team is anticipated to transition to Nestlé as of July 3, 2026.
