Indonesia’s food, beverage, and hospitality industries are entering a new phase of growth, driven by rising domestic consumption, the expansion of the tourism sector, and evolving consumer lifestyles. The growing popularity of dining out and staycations, coupled with the rapid adoption of digital services, has transformed the hotel, restaurant, and foodservice sectors as key drivers of the country’s economic growth.
According to the Food Service – Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Annual 2025 report0F 1 , Indonesia’s Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional (HRI) market reached a value of US$29 billion in 2024, making it the largest foodservice market in Southeast Asia (ASEAN) and surpassing pre-pandemic levels. This growth has been fueled by the expansion of international hotel and restaurant chains, the increasing popularity of specialty coffee and premium bakery products, as well as the rapid growth of digital food delivery services that have broadened consumer access to quality products and services.
At the same time, the industry is undergoing a significant transformation, marked by growing demand for premium-quality products, the broader implementation of halal certification requirements, and increasingly competitive regional market dynamics. These developments underscore the need for a business platform capable of bringing together industry players, suppliers, distributors, and policymakers within an integrated ecosystem.
Responding to these industry needs, Food G Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 will return from 21–24 July 2026, at Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO). Entering its 20th edition, FHI continues to strengthen its position as Indonesia’s leading and largest international B2B trade exhibition for the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. For more than three decades, FHI has served as a strategic meeting point for local and international industry stakeholders to showcase innovations, expand business networks, and create investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.
This year, FHI will offer a more integrated exhibition experience. Through a single access pass, visitors will also be able to explore Hotelex Indonesia, Fine Furniture C Deco Asia (FFDA), Hotel C Shop Design and Supply Asia (HSDSA), and PROPAK Indonesia within the same exhibition

venue. This integration creates a more comprehensive business ecosystem, bringing together industry professionals from multiple sectors while fostering broader cross-industry collaboration and business opportunities.
Meysia Stephanie, Portfolio Director of FHI 2026, said the rapid growth of Indonesia’s hospitality and FCB industries must be supported by a business ecosystem that accelerates innovation, expands market access, and strengthens collaboration among industry stakeholders.
“The future growth of the industry will not be determined solely by market size, but also by the ability of stakeholders to collaborate, adapt to evolving market trends, and embrace innovation and technology. FHI serves as a business platform that brings together the entire industry ecosystem, enabling businesses to forge strategic partnerships, discover new solutions, and enhance their competitiveness in the global marketplace,” said Meysia.
The outlook for FHI 2026 is further reinforced by Indonesia’s strong economic fundamentals. The country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to reach US$6.13 trillion by 2028, with economic growth expected to range between 5.8 and 6.3 percent in 2026. At the same time, Indonesia’s hospitality industry is forecast to triple in size by 2030, driven by increasing investment, the continued development of sustainable tourism, and rising consumer demand for high-quality culinary experiences and hospitality services.

Leonarita Hutama, Marketing Communication Manager PT Pamerindo Indonesia, said sustainability has evolved from a market trend into a fundamental pillar of long-term business growth within the food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
“The future of our industry will be shaped not only by product innovation and technological advancement, but also by how businesses embrace more responsible and sustainable practices. Through FHI 202C, we aim to provide a collaborative platform where companies, innovators, and industry stakeholders can exchange ideas, showcase sustainable solutions, and accelerate the adoption of responsible business practices across the food, beverage, and hospitality sectors,” Leonarita said.
This commitment is reflected in the participation of companies showcasing sustainability-driven innovations, including Althea Ecobag, Bukit Foods, Meltique Beef, Flora Food Group, Healthy Choice, and Nisuma, alongside many other leading domestic and international brands.
