Raya Holdings, spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, has made a significant investment in Drip Water, elevating the company’s valuation to £100 million.

This new capital injection will enhance Drip Water’s distribution and retail presence in the region, facilitating valuable partnerships in sports, music, and events.

New Canning Facility Development

Additionally, Drip Water has initiated plans to establish a state-of-the-art canning facility and central distribution hub. The goal is to position itself as the leading supplier of mineral water across the Middle East.

Luke Davis, co-founder of Drip Water, stated, “Raya Holding’s new equity stake will be key in our expansion in the region and beyond. Together, we’ll leverage access and insight in the Middle East to help Drip grow its business on a global scale and reach more consumers than ever before. We would like to thank Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan for his hospitality.

Founded in October 2023 by TV chef and musician Big Zuu, Drip Water offers a sustainable canned alternative to traditional still and sparkling water. The water is naturally filtered through chalk layers, enriching it with essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium sourced from England’s South Downs.

Expansion Across the UK and US

Drip Water emphasizes sustainability at its core by utilizing aluminum, which reduces energy consumption by 95% compared to producing plastic bottles or cartons. Since its launch, the company has experienced rapid growth and is now available throughout the UK and in the US as of this year.

In related investment news, no-alcohol beverage brand Impossibrew has surpassed its latest crowdfunding target, raising over £1.4 million to further expand its operations. This achievement more than doubles their initial goal of £500,000, including a previous successful campaign that raised £341,000.

Meanwhile, the Scottish firm Wilsons Pet Food has secured a £1 million investment from The Investment Fund for Scotland, highlighting the ongoing trend of investment in promising brands.
