The ReZorce carton is a groundbreaking innovation designed to be recycled back into cartons, with a recycling process similar to plastic milk bottles. Unlike standard Liquid Packaging Board (LPB) beverage cartons, ReZorce offers a more sustainable solution with easier recycling capabilities.

Traditional LPB beverage cartons use different materials for freshness and require specialized paper mills for processing, hindering their ability to incorporate recycled fibers. In contrast, ReZorce’s barrier properties allow for circularity in packaging applications, particularly in beverage cartons, which are a major global concern due to the 250 billion cartons used annually.

With a focus on mono-material plastic construction, ReZorce uses foam layers to tailor properties like barrier resistance for oxygen and moisture, resulting in a more flexible and recyclable carton. By eliminating the need for separate materials, ReZorce can be recycled just like plastic milk bottles, contributing to a circular economy.

Through strategic partnerships with companies like Refresco, ReZorce is undergoing development and market trials to ensure its viability as a sustainable packaging solution. With peer-reviewed life cycle assessments showing significant reductions in energy and water usage compared to traditional cartons, ReZorce is positioned as a leader in eco-friendly packaging.

By utilizing foaming technology and a 100% plastic composition, ReZorce offers a new concept in carton packaging that is both functional and recyclable. With plans to scale up production and meet the demand for sustainable alternatives to LPB cartons, Zotefoams is confident in the market acceptance and success of ReZorce.

As brands and retailers seek sustainable packaging solutions, ReZorce stands out as a fully recyclable, recycled-content product with a lower carbon footprint. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, ReZorce offers a promising future for the food and drink industry.
