Trivium Packaging, a premier global supplier of metal packaging, proudly announces its receipt of the Best in Class (Sustainable Package Design) PAC Global Award for the Conejo Verde aluminium wine bottle. This accolade follows the bottle’s achievement of the Award of Excellence at the 2024 International Metal Decorating & Packaging Association (IMDPA) conference.
In partnership with Familia Falasco, the owner of Conejo Verde, Trivium has designed a luxurious aluminium bottle that beautifully embodies Argentina’s rich cultural heritage. This innovative packaging sets new standards in sustainability and circular solutions, effectively merging elegance with functionality for food and drink packaging.
“We’re proud to see our partnership with Conejo Verde earn recognition at the PAC Global Awards,” stated Trivium Packaging CEO Michael Mapes. “This bottle represents more than just innovative design; it’s a prime example of how sustainable materials can redefine luxury, proving that environmental stewardship and creativity can go hand in hand.”
The Conejo Verde bottle is lightweight, durable, and reclosable, crafted from recyclable aluminium. Its striking, detailed print enhances shelf presence and attracts consumers. Furthermore, its mono-material construction streamlines recycling by eliminating the need for separation, ensuring efficient material recovery. The bottle incorporates recycled content and is produced in a facility committed to continuous environmental improvement. Its lightweight design not only conserves materials but also reduces the overall carbon footprint, while its durability contributes to minimizing waste. Importantly, 100% of scrap materials from production are recycled, re-entering the material stream for reuse.
“Trivium’s Conejo Verde bottle delivers what consumers and brands want in their packaging: a sustainable, convenient solution without compromising design. We are proud of the work our team in Argentina has accomplished on this bottle,” remarked Santiago Perez, Commercial Director for Trivium Packaging – Argentina.
Irene Ouet, Marketing Manager of Familia Falasco, added, “This recognition is an excellent endorsement of the work we’ve been doing in the packaging of Conejo Verde. In today’s industry, packaging is no longer just a container; it is a pivotal element in the consumer experience. It serves as the first interaction with our brand and reflects our values, encompassing sustainability and innovation.”
She continued, “For us, packaging design transcends mere visuals. Our selection of reusable and recyclable aluminium addresses environmental needs while offering practical benefits and enhanced product preservation. These attributes align with our dedication to delivering a modern, functional solution that supports conscious consumption trends.”
Owing to the positive reception of our aluminium packaging among consumers, we are thrilled with the sales success. This demonstrates that consumers value not only modern and practical design but also the convenience of enjoying our wines in formats suited to their lifestyles, whether at home or during outdoor activities. In an era where purchasing decisions are increasingly influenced by environmental consciousness, it’s evident our packaging makes a meaningful impact.
The recognition from PAC Global not only reinforces our commitments but also inspires us to continue pursuing innovative solutions and tackling industry challenges. We believe that advancements in packaging design can significantly transform brand perceptions and enhance consumer relationships with products. We celebrate this achievement and reaffirm our dedication to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
