SIG, an industry leader in food and drink packaging solutions, is excited to announce the expansion of its SIG Neo filling machine portfolio. This new lineup includes the world’s fastest and most adaptable aseptic carton filling machine for multi-serve formats. At Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai, from November 5-7, SIG will showcase the SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic, a remarkable new filling machine that can fill up to 15,000 SIG SlimlineBloc packs per hour. This marks a significant 25% increase in output compared to our standard filling machines for family-sized formats.

As the food and beverage industry faces rising demands for high output, flexibility, and sustainable solutions, the SIG Neo technology platform offers groundbreaking advancements. The SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic not only enhances production speed but also features a compact design, perfect for manufacturers looking to boost capacity without the need for expensive facility expansions. In a market where floor space is limited, prioritizing flexibility and quality is crucial. SIG’s ability to significantly enhance output per square meter stands out as a transformative advantage.

The SIG Neo technology signifies a major advancement in filling machine innovation, expertly designed to accommodate the evolving requirements of the food and drink sector. This new technology allows manufacturers to easily switch among 1L, 750mL, and 500mL packaging formats, as well as various product categories and packaging materials.

“With the SIG Neo platform, we’re addressing key industry challenges,” said Christoph Wegener, Chief Markets Officer at SIG. “Our customers are seeking higher production capacity, improved efficiency, and the ability to adapt to changing consumer trends. The SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic delivers uniquely on all these fronts. It offers an industry-leading waste rate of less than 0.5%, incorporates smart digitalization in operations, and achieves up to 15% lower Total Filling Costs compared to SIG’s standard filling machines for multi-serve aseptic cartons. With this superior performance, we empower our customers to scale their filling line capacity to as much as 70 million packs annually. Additionally, our SIG Neo filling machine portfolio is designed to work seamlessly with our SIG Terra suite of lower carbon aseptic carton packaging materials.”

The SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic filling machine comes equipped with several advanced features, including the innovative SIG Neo HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for intuitive operation and valuable insights into the machine’s performance. Furthermore, the SIG Neo Shield enhances sterile airflow and provides shielding during bottom sealing and pre-folding processes, enabling the removal of up to 95% of airborne particles. This leads to superior product quality and extended production cycles. Moreover, the SIG Neo platform includes semi-automatic cleaning capabilities that deliver exceptional cleaning results with shorter downtime.

Gavin Steiner, Chief Technology Officer at SIG: “As the food and beverage industry continues to evolve, SIG is setting a standard for fast, flexible, and sustainable filling technology. The SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic is a testament to SIG’s commitment to innovation, helping manufacturers achieve growth, efficiency, and quality like never before. This technology is particularly beneficial for manufacturers eager to expand rapidly, even when dealing with limited space. I am proud of our team at SIG for developing a groundbreaking solution that meets the industry’s urgent need for swift growth and adaptable production.”

Moving forward, SIG is committed to integrating these cutting-edge SIG Neo technology advancements into additional aseptic carton filling machines, further enhancing both its multi-serve and single-serve offerings.
