Gerhard Schubert is set to open the 2024 exhibition year by showcasing the company’s extensive expertise in the packaging of snacks and confectionery at ProSweets Cologne. From January 28 to 31, visitors can explore the Schubert team’s offerings at Stand F030-G031 in Hall 10.1.
One of the highlights will be the introduction of Schubert’s TLM Comfort Feeder, a new and resource-efficient solution for feeding carton blanks. At the trade fair stand, visitors can witness live demonstrations of the TLM Comfort Feeder, which addresses the common issue of process delays due to empty blank magazines on the packaging line.
The TLM Comfort Feeder allows for an uninterrupted process by utilizing an F4 robot to extract individual blanks directly from the cutting sheet and feed them into the erecting process at a rate of 60 cycles per minute. This innovative approach not only eliminates the need for last-minute actions by machine operators but also optimizes the use of packaging material, saving resources and reducing costs.
Additionally, Schubert will showcase its TLM Power Compact machine category, providing high-performance density in a small space. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insights into Schubert’s diverse portfolio of packaging machines, including pick & place robots, flowrappers, casepackers, and complete packaging lines, all of which are essential for producing high-quality packaging.
For snack and confectionery manufacturers, Schubert’s packaging lines stand out for their ability to accommodate different product variants simultaneously, allowing for a wide range of assortment configurations. Moreover, Schubert’s commitment to sustainability is evident through its Mission Blue Sustainability Initiative, which aims to support customers in adopting more environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
At the exhibition, Schubert will present innovative sustainable packaging concepts, including Dotlock technology, which produces carton packaging without the use of glue, and a carton-monofilm hybrid solution that reduces plastic usage. The company’s consulting services and digital offerings also play a crucial role in supporting customers in their pursuit of sustainable packaging solutions.
Martin Sauter, sales director at Gerhard Schubert, emphasizes the company’s dedication to providing manufacturers with solutions that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs amid the challenging landscape of the snack and confectionery industry.
Overall, Schubert’s presence at ProSweets Cologne promises to offer valuable insights and solutions for the packaging needs of the food industry.
