Tray2Go is a sustainable and fully recyclable packaging solution designed for chilled food-to-go, sushi, confectionery, and bakery products. The robust and durable double-wall tray is available in four standard sizes and can also be customized to fit specific needs. It offers efficient nesting and secure stacking while maintaining excellent product visibility.
The high-clarity click-lock lid provides secure product protection and allows for one-hand closure, streamlining the manufacturing process. Available in kraft, black, or white, the tray’s inner PE varnish and GR coating on one side offer additional oil and grease resistance.
In addition to its functionality, the recessed (footed) base provides added protection from wet food preparation conveyor belts and manufacturing processes while still allowing for excellent ‘nestability’. Furthermore, the feet contribute to a premium design, and this innovative concept is fully patented by Sabert.
Alex Noake, managing director of Sabert UK & Ireland, highlighted the sustainable nature of the Tray2Go range. The board bases are made with FSC® certified material in the UK, while the lids are manufactured from rPET in Belgium, comprising a minimum of 50% recycled material.
