Re:Water, the premium aluminium bottled water brand, has launched a new 330ml bottle, broadening its offerings to help businesses eliminate plastic from their beverage selections.

Designed for refilling, reusing, and complete recyclability, the elegant and minimalist 330ml bottle is available in both still and sparkling options. This new size complements Re:Water’s original 500ml bottle, with a larger 750ml version set to join the product lineup later this year.

Brand research, conducted through a survey of over 2,000 UK adults and 1,300 professionals in the hotel and travel industry, indicated strong consumer preferences influencing Re:Water’s expansion. Notably, 78% of consumers expressed a preference for aluminium over single-use plastic or glass. Furthermore, 88% of hotel and travel professionals requested a broader selection of sustainable options, especially given the rising costs of glass under the government’s new EPR scheme.

Among the primary requests was a smaller aluminium bottle, ideal for mini bars and hotel rooms. This choice is perceived as a more premium, eco-friendly alternative to cartons or cans, while also maintaining a competitive price point.

Ben Richardson, Re:Water Co-founder, stated: “Our research revealed a strong demand for 330ml aluminium bottles over cartons and cans, particularly among hotels, restaurants, and catering services. This new size is perfect for brands and operators aiming to phase out plastic while providing a premium sustainable solution at a more accessible price.”

Matt Crocker, also a Co-founder of Re:Water, added: “The sustainable bottled water market is growing rapidly, and as category leaders, we are adapting to the needs of consumers and businesses alike. With glass packaging costs rising under the new EPR scheme, our bottles—crafted from 100% recycled aluminium and endlessly recyclable—are more relevant than ever as the sustainable option for on-the-go hydration.”

Since its launch in 2021, Re:Water has successfully sold over 10 million bottles across the UK—averaging 78 bottles per second.

The recommended retail price for the 330ml bottle is £1.79, while the 500ml bottle ranges from £2.49 to £3.49.
