Multiscan Technologies and WECO, members of Duravant’s Food Sorting and Handling Solutions group, have recently formed a strategic partnership in order to provide increased support to produce growers, processors, packers, and re-packers across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. This partnership brings together the product portfolios, sales and service organizations of both companies, giving customers enhanced access to their optical sorters, graders, and other vision inspection systems.
In the EMEA region, Multiscan is now taking the lead in sales, leasing, and support for the integrated Multiscan and WECO product portfolio. This follows a similar partnership in North America earlier this year, where WECO took the lead. By integrating WECO’s grading and process monitoring solutions with Multiscan’s advanced vision inspection technology, a wide range of products including blueberries, tree nuts, and wine grapes can be effectively managed. This automation collaboration between Multiscan and WECO empowers growers, processors, packers, and re-packers to improve product quality, increase yield, enhance line capacity, and reduce labor costs.
“The collaboration of Multiscan and WECO in the EMEA region is incredibly beneficial for our customers,” said Jack Lee, President of Duravant Group’s Food Sorting and Handling Solutions. “With a comprehensive range of automation solutions available from a single source, we can offer turnkey systems tailored to each customer’s specific grading objectives, line layout, and throughput requirements. Additionally, we are committed to delivering industry-leading support and swift response times to ensure our customers maximize equipment performance, uptime, and overall profitability.”
Multiscan and WECO will be exhibiting together at Fruit Attraction, Stand 10B21 – Pavilion 10 in Madrid from October 3-5, 2023.
