From November 4 to 6, 2025, ITP (Industria Termoplastica Pavese Spa) will make its debut at Gulfood Manufacturing, the premier trade show for food and drink packaging in the Middle East, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Located in the Italian Pavilion – Shk Saeed Hall 2, Stand S2-E70, ITP will present an array of high-performance flexible packaging solutions crafted in Italy. These solutions are specifically designed to cater to the unique needs of the Middle Eastern market, focusing on extended shelf life, sustainability, religious compliance, and visual appeal.
Triflex T-Lid: This coextruded biaxially oriented film is tailored for top lidding applications, featuring exceptional oxygen barrier properties, superb transparency, and reduced thickness. It is particularly suited for ready meals, meat, fish, and fresh pasta. Utilizing Triple Bubble® technology, unique in Italy, it supports significant thickness and weight reduction while minimizing environmental impact without compromising technical performance.
ClearSkinPack®: An invisible skin film for vacuum packaging, this solution boasts high mechanical strength and an EVOH barrier. It excels with bone-in meats, seafood, ready meals, and frozen products, ensuring extended shelf life and premium presentation—even in vertical displays.
Paper*: This thermal lamination liner for cardboard trays is applied without adhesives, reducing plastic usage by up to 80%. It simplifies recycling while maintaining sealing and barrier properties. It is ideal for meat, fish, cheese, ready meals, and vegetables.
FreezyPeel: This peelable film for frozen foods is expertly engineered for low-temperature resistance, easy opening, and optimal preservation, making it a practical choice for both retail and home use.
Versatile Solutions for Every Packaging Requirement
In addition to top lidding and skin applications, ITP provides a comprehensive range of barrier and resealable films for flexible packaging. The Bariflex® and RecyBariflex lines deliver outstanding barrier performance and recyclability, while Sealflex® and RecySealflex ensure secure sealing and compatibility with high-speed production lines.
For the frozen food sector, ITP offers films with superior cold resistance, ensuring both convenience and product integrity. The range also includes pouches—doypacks, gusset bags, and 3-side seal formats—crafted from laminated or mono-material PE films, suitable for solids, liquids, spices, coffee, cosmetics, and pet food.
Halal Certification: Commitment to Respect and Compliance
Recognizing the increasing significance of cultural and religious standards in global markets, ITP has initiated the Halal certification process for select packaging solutions. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to adhering to Islamic guidelines, providing safe, traceable, and respectful products for customers in the Middle East.
Achieving Halal certification is a decisive step toward inclusivity and transparency, fostering trust among consumers and professionals in the food and drink packaging industry where religious conformity is crucial
“Gulfood Manufacturing is a strategic opportunity for us to connect with food industry players in the Middle East, share our vision of responsible packaging, and present solutions that respect the unique characteristics of the markets we aim to grow in,” says Paola Centonze, ITP Chief Communication & Sustainability Officer.
