Ishida Europe has officially appointed Takayo Motegi as its new Managing Director, taking over from Dave Tiso, who has successfully led the company since 2015.
With over three decades of sales experience within the Ishida Group, Takayo is well-equipped for this position. His extensive knowledge of the food sector, combined with a solid grasp of Ishida’s global operations and customer-centric approach, aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
Dave Tiso will assume the role of Chairman, continuing to provide strategic direction to the organization. Under his leadership, Ishida Europe has consistently achieved record-breaking performances throughout his 11-year term as Managing Director.
Having served in various senior roles, including six years as Managing Director of Ishida Thailand, Takayo has established a reputation for promoting growth through engagement with customers. This experience has given him valuable insights into the challenges that businesses in the food manufacturing and packaging sectors confront.
In his new capacity, Takayo will implement the global strategies of the Japan-based organization across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He aims to enhance the company’s responsiveness to the changing demands for automated weighing, packaging, and quality control solutions, which are crucial for supporting Industry 4.0 and modern manufacturing requirements.
