FEVE, the European Container Glass Industry Federation, is excited to announce the appointment of Max Kemp as its new Senior Manager of Energy Policy. This strategic hire arrives at a crucial time when the European container glass industry is amplifying its commitment to decarbonizing production processes and ensuring access to affordable green energy. Mr. Kemp will lead a new workstream within FEVE, focused on effectively advocating for the industry in energy policy discussions at the EU level.

Max Kemp offers a robust background in EU policy, with a particular emphasis on climate and energy regulations. His previous experience at the European Federation of Local Energy Companies (CEDEC) and Milieu Law & Policy Consulting has provided him with extensive knowledge in monitoring legislative developments and crafting advocacy strategies. This blend of expertise and a strong legal foundation will prove invaluable as he guides FEVE through the intricate energy landscape, particularly in relation to sustainable packaging solutions for food and drink.

In discussing his new role, Max Kemp stated, “I am honored to join FEVE and to be entrusted with this important mission for the European Container Glass Industry. This is both a challenging and exciting opportunity, and I am eager to leverage my experience and skills to support FEVE’s goals.”
