Colpac has introduced the Stagione® Light, a new line of paperboard food packaging that enhances its successful Stagione® range.
Stagione® Light features the signature shape and roll top design of Colpac’s original offerings, while providing customers with lighter products constructed from a single piece of paperboard. These innovative packs are produced from FSC® certified*, recyclable paperboard, adhering to the UK and European recycling standards.
The new Stagione® Light line includes three size options: 500ml and 750ml rectangular containers, as well as a 1000ml square variant.
To create the Stagione® Light line, Colpac has invested in new machinery, thereby expanding its Stagione® offerings. This development not only diversifies available options but also provides cost-effective choices that broaden Colpac’s market appeal.
This versatile range is suitable for serving both hot and chilled meals in foodservice settings. The grease-resistant barrier and webbed design ensure that the packs remain leakproof when holding wet, ready-to-eat foods. Additionally, Stagione® Light is ideal for packaging chilled food-to-go items like salads and baked goods for both foodservice and retail environments.
To simplify the purchasing process and align with existing products, the new bases are compatible with Colpac’s extensive selection of lid options. These options include rPET and PP clear lids, as well as PP and PE-coated paperboard lids. The snug-fitting lids offer a leakproof seal that ensures safe transport and optimal food freshness. Furthermore, the roll top design allows for film sealing, which extends the shelf life of Stagione® Light products.
To maximize branding potential, these packs are designed for full surface printing due to their single-piece paperboard construction. This feature allows for printing on the base, which is ideal for displaying ingredient information.
