Colpac is expanding its range of recyclable food packaging with the introduction of a new 1000ml square Stagione® variant. This new size is designed to cater specifically to the chilled food market and is accompanied by a complementary rPET lid.
Product Details
The new square Stagione® features a PP coating that provides an excellent grease and moisture barrier, making it one of the most durable barrier coatings available. Despite being shallower in depth than Colpac’s existing 1250ml size, the square 1000ml variant still offers a large visible area for product display.
Colpac has also launched a new style of rPET lid for this product. With its anti-mist coating, the lid boasts crystal-clear clarity and a smooth finish, making it ideal for labeling. This lid is compatible with both sizes of square Stagione® bases, thereby extending their use in chilled cabinets.
The new 1000ml square Stagione® from Colpac contains only 5.7% plastic, well below the 10% recycling threshold set by OPRL. Made from FSC® certified paperboard (FSC® CO41147) to ensure sustainable sourcing, it aligns with the growing demand for eco-friendly products from both customers and consumers. The square lid is made from 100% recycled PET and is recyclable after use.

The Stagione® range stands out for its versatility, offering a wide variety of sizes and shapes across fourteen different options. Despite its sustainable credentials, the range still maintains high barrier properties.
Colpac’s Stagione® PP range is suitable for packaging various dishes at all stages of food production, service, and sale. Freezer safe and microwaveable, these containers are perfect for food-to-go environments such as hot hold cabinets and chillers. We offer separate lids for each specific environment.
In addition, Colpac has recently introduced lightweighted PE coated Stagione® products, which are perfect for customers who do not require reheating functionality. These are particularly well-suited for the instant serve and chilled food markets.
