Among the innovative offerings is Chadwicks’ latest rPET pre-cut lidding film, which incorporates up to 50 percent post-consumer resin (PCR). This development is designed to enhance sustainability efforts and comply with evolving plastic packaging regulations.
The launch of rPET pre-cut lids featuring 50 percent PCR represents a significant advancement in minimizing carbon emissions by reducing reliance on virgin plastic. Aligned with European sustainability initiatives, Chadwicks’ rPET lidding empowers brands to fulfill regulatory obligations while lowering their environmental impact by integrating recycled materials into their packaging solutions.
Fully approved for food contact, rPET pre-cut lids are suitable for a diverse array of food applications, including butter, dips, spreads, yogurts, beverages, and convenience foods. They maintain the same high-performance characteristics as traditional PET pre-cut lidding while contributing to food and drink sustainable packaging.

In addition to the rPET solutions, Chadwicks will introduce its latest innovation—an advanced resealable pre-cut lid. This new product eliminates the need for plastic over-caps, thereby extending product freshness while significantly reducing overall plastic usage.
Chadwicks will also highlight its versatile Aluminium pre-cut lidding, recognized for its exceptional sealing capabilities across various container types, including PP, PET, paper PE, and glass. Aluminium lids deliver excellent barrier properties, effectively protecting against light, moisture, and oxygen. This approach helps extend shelf life and maintains product quality. Furthermore, they are fully recyclable, supporting sustainability objectives while being compatible with high-speed production lines and multiple heat-sealing processes. Aluminium lidding is also suitable for hot fill applications and products requiring additional processes such as pasteurization or sterilization, making it a reliable choice for diverse applications.
