The agency faced the challenge of designing a sculptural, iconic bottle, drawing inspiration from the natural form of an oyster shell. This innovative approach reflects the growing trend in food and drink packaging that embraces sustainability and artistry.
Featuring an embossed, organic silhouette that suggests layered strata, the design uses transparent glass with a subtle green tint. This not only elevates the visual storytelling but also resonates with consumers who prioritize sustainable packaging, evoking imagery of waves meeting the shore.
The Adriatic Gin SKU showcases this subtle green glass, reminiscent of clear waters, complemented by a deep-green leather neck ring. In contrast, Wild Citrus employs a frosted glass finish, providing a more tactile experience that aligns with current food and drink consumer trends.
Both SKUs are thoughtfully finished with natural wooden closures and embossed metal coins, firmly grounding the design in authenticity and craftsmanship. This attention to detail is essential in today’s competitive food and drink marketing landscape.
The typography, branding, and iconography are elegantly understated, allowing the bottle’s iconic form to take center stage. Such design choices reflect a broader move towards sustainability in food and drink marketing, appealing to eco-conscious consumers.
Dmitri Nasalskiy, marketing director of Noblewood Group, stated: “Our collaboration with Appartement 103 has been both inspiring and seamless. Their talent for elevating branding while crafting a distinctive structural bottle shape has brought our vision to life in a way that feels truly iconic.” This partnership illustrates the importance of innovation in building a sustainable brand in the food and drink sector.
