The newly launched range aims to provide “restaurant-quality meals” that are conveniently available for home enjoyment.
Scheduled to debut on supermarket shelves on 23 April, this range will initially be offered at a promotional price of £4 per meal, reduced from £4.80.
Manufactured by Samworth Brothers and developed in collaboration with The Wonderfield Group, owner of YO!, the new SKUs feature five main dishes and three complementary sides.
The main courses include Chicken Katsu Curry, Beef Teriyaki, Miso Aubergine Bowl, Firecracker Chicken Rice, and Korean-style Chicken Donburi, while the side options consist of edamame, chicken bites, and gyozas.
According to Kantar data, the ready meals category is witnessing impressive growth, with brands generating £30 million in revenue over the 12-month period leading up to February 2025. Furthermore, this category has seen an increase in buyer participation, with 31% of new consumers now engaging with ready meal brands.

Samworth Brothers, employing over 12,500 individuals across its 15 sites in the UK and Ireland, owns several well-known brands, including Ginsters, Soreen, and Higgidy. Recently, it acquired The Real Wrap Co in April 2024.
In addition, YO! operates a chain of sushi restaurants throughout the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Australia.
