Krones has marked a significant milestone with the sale of its 500th ErgoBloc L to a bottler in the Philippines, underscoring the success of the block technology.

Since its debut at drinktec 2009, the ErgoBloc L from Krones has become a vital component of bottling plants. With the launch of this market-leading technology, Krones has realized its vision of a complete filling and packaging line combined in one block.

The 500th ErgoBloc has been sold to Philippine Spring Water Resources Inc (PSWRI), marking a significant achievement for the German packaging and bottling machine manufacturer. PSWRI’s president, Danilo Lua, expressed excitement about the milestone, stating, “The block significantly expands our production capacity and allows us to meet the growing demand for our products while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability.”

The ErgoBloc’s compact footprint and modular design integrate key processes, such as stretch blow molding, labeling, and filling, into a single compact unit. This design has multiple benefits, including a reduction in space requirements, energy consumption, and operating costs. The system’s intuitive user interface and advanced automation features minimize downtime, optimize overall production efficiency, and ensure product quality – perfectly aligning with PSWRI’s dedication to delivering the highest-quality bottled water to Filipino consumers.

Regis Herve, head of sales for new machines at Krones, emphasized the enduring trust and collaboration between Krones and PSWRI. He stated, “This 500th ErgoBloc installation is proof of enduring trust and collaboration between Krones and PSWRI. We are proud to be a part of their journey and look forward to supporting their continued growth in the Philippines and Asia market.”

In conclusion, the sale of the 500th ErgoBloc represents a significant achievement for Krones and a testament to the enduring success of their block technology.
