DB Foods has announced an exciting new chapter of growth, secured through its recent acquisition by the Paramount Retail Group. This transition marks a pivotal moment for the company and the broader food manufacturing sector.
In conjunction with the acquisition, an investment of £12 million will help drive expansion, enhance services, and fortify the UK meat supply chain.
The funding from Paramount Retail Group will be strategically allocated to bolster DB Foods Group’s production capacity, upgrade technology and infrastructure, and facilitate the delivery of more agile services to its customers.
Moreover, this initiative signifies a substantial advancement in fortifying supply chain resilience throughout the UK meat sector, yielding long-term advantages for producers, retailers, and consumers alike.

Over the past 30 years, DB Foods Group has cultivated a £122 million business that significantly supports the British butchery industry, providing direct assistance to 1,000 butchers weekly and employing 240 individuals at its production facilities and headquarters in Poole, UK.
With a diverse portfolio that includes major customers such as Tesco, Aldi, Ocado, Wagamama, Popeyes, and British Airways, this partnership is poised to amplify DB Foods Group’s resources, market reach, and industry positioning, with anticipated revenue growth of £30 million.
