Dinnissen, a leading system integrator specializing in process technology for powders, granules, and granulated products, has officially announced the opening of its new regional hub: Dinnissen UK Ltd.
This addition marks Dinnissen’s fifth branch, complementing its existing locations in the Netherlands, Germany, and Jakarta. Daily management of Dinnissen UK will be overseen by Dan Baxter, who brings over thirty years of experience in process technology to the table. The new operations will be based at the esteemed Alderley Park business park, conveniently located near Manchester.
As the primary liaison for customer relations in the UK and Ireland, Baxter’s deep understanding of regional dynamics enables him to respond swiftly to customer requirements.
Baxter states: “The focus is on serving our customers as effectively as possible. Having a local process expert who understands both the culture and the market allows us to serve customers better and more efficiently.”
For many years, Dinnissen has collaborated with UK-based companies. The key transition is the introduction of a local expert for customer communication, enhancing familiarity with regional culture, conditions, and regulations. Meanwhile, engineering and production of all components, machinery, and complete production lines will continue in Sevenum, The Netherlands. Subsequently, the complete systems will be shipped to the UK, with Dinnissen UK supervising their implementation.
Wouter Kuijpers, operations director, explains: “At our company, we always make decisions with long-term considerations in mind. By operating locally, we can continue to meet our customers’ needs.”
Although Baxter is new to Dinnissen, he possesses extensive experience in the process industry. His vast knowledge of the UK and Irish markets positions him to strengthen Dinnissen’s presence in these regions significantly.
Reflecting on his decision to join Dinnissen, Baxter notes, “Having worked in the process equipment solutions industry all my working life, without doubt Dinnissen is the most impressive manufacturing organisation I have seen in the industry sector.”
Baxter adds, “Dinnissen has at the heart of its offering core values aligned with my own personal values, putting its clients, team members, and supplier base at the heart of everything it does. Dinnissen is a true automation provider, and from the moment you engage with the company, their core values are represented by the employees in all they do.”
Dinnissen began its international expansion several years ago with a branch in Germany and more recently established Dinnissen Asia in Jakarta to better serve the Asian market. Customers in the UK and Ireland can now also depend on a regional contact for their needs.
However, Frans Bakker, technical & commercial director, emphasizes that Dinnissen’s expansion strategy is not simply about growth for the sake of growth.
“The new branches are being opened to continue meeting the local demands of the market. It is our strategic aim to both maintain the trust of our customers and enlarge our business footprint,” Bakker states.
