Ursula Mejía Melgar has joined Diageo’s GB team following her five-year tenure as marketing director for the southern Europe division, where she successfully revitalized the Johnnie Walker brand.
Prior to her role at Diageo, Mejía Melgar excelled in senior marketing positions with several notable food and beverage companies, including AM Fresh Group, Mondelez International, and Nestlé.
Reflecting on her new role, she stated: “I’m really looking forward to getting started in GB and contributing to a market that’s known for putting brands at the heart of culture.”
Experience and Passion

In her new position, Mejía Melgar will oversee brand strategy, innovation, and market execution, all aimed at enhancing growth, increasing relevance, and building long-term equity within crucial categories.
