Middledale Foods has announced plans to invest in its workforce, operational processes, and infrastructure to enhance its capacity, improve its capabilities, and meet the growing needs of food manufacturers throughout the UK.
This development follows the company’s impressive performance, with a reported turnover of £31.2 million in FY25, indicating that it has more than doubled its turnover since FY22 and achieved a remarkable 133% increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization during the same period.
The company is now setting its sights on a turnover of £52 million and an EBIT of £1.5 million by FY28.
In discussing Middledale’s future objectives, managing director Sarah Summers expressed: “Reaching our 30th anniversary is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, but our focus is firmly on what comes next. Every stage of our growth has been guided by a commitment to building a stronger business that continues to deliver for our customers and manufacturing partners.”
She added, “Everything we’ve achieved has been made possible by the dedication of our team, the trust our customers place in us and the strength of the manufacturing partnerships we’ve built over the past three decades.”
Summers emphasised, “Through continued investment in people, systems, expertise and innovation, we’re broadening our specialist ingredients offering and strengthening the capabilities that enable us to deliver innovative, partnership-led ingredient solutions and support our customers for many years to come.”
