The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) hosted a successful British Cheese Night in the luxurious Foundation Rooms of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. The event served as an opportunity for British cheese exporters to showcase their high-quality products to a targeted audience of potential and existing customers.

The evening featured cheese displays and tastings, bringing together over 80 buyers from hotels, retailers, chefs, and distributors. This event holds great significance as the US is the UK’s second-largest dairy export market, with opportunities for growth in the next decade due to increasing levels of cheese consumption.

Lucy Randolph, the head of international trade development (dairy) at AHDB, expressed her enthusiasm for the event’s success and its potential impact on British dairy exports to the US market. She highlighted the significant business wins achieved by exporters following the previous year’s event and emphasized the organization’s commitment to capitalizing on long-term opportunities in the US.

Randolph also emphasized the event’s role in helping British exporters gain a stronger foothold in the US market. AHDB’s goal is to grow the British Cheese Night into the go-to annual dairy showcase for US buyers, further solidifying the UK’s position in the US dairy industry.
