Ferrero, a renowned Italian chocolate company, is set to acquire US biscotti producer Nonni’s Bakery. The acquisition is being made by CTH Invest, and it marks a significant move in the food and beverage industry.
Established in 1988, Nonni’s Bakery has a rich Italian heritage, specializing in premium artisanal biscotti cookies and baked goods. Their product range includes chocolate-enhanced biscotti and Cantuccini-type cookies, showcasing their expertise in the field. Nonni’s brands like THINaddictives, Bites, La Dolce Vita, and Snackers have gained popularity among consumers.
With four manufacturing plants and around 350 employees, Nonni’s Bakery has carved a niche for itself in the market. Ferrero sees this acquisition as a strategic step to strengthen its presence in North America and expand globally in the sweet-packaged food industry.

CTH Invest, the Ferrero-related Belgian holding company, has a diverse portfolio that includes brands like Burton’s Biscuit Company, Fox’s Biscuits, Kelsen Group, Delacre Biscuits, and Michel et Augustin. This acquisition aligns with Ferrero’s growth strategy in the food and drink business.
