From 2 July to 26 August 2023, Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats will launch a new campaign called ‘Nothing Satisfies More’ for Snickers Ice Cream. This campaign marks a UK first for the brand, as it will appear on mainstream ITV, Channel 4, and Sky television, as well as online broadcast streaming platforms. Additionally, the campaign will be featured on out-of-home Gym TV Music and Tony & Guy Salon screens.
The objective of this campaign is to reach 60% of all adults in the UK. To achieve this, Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats will also utilize trade public relations and social media amplification through TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram. Collectively, this comprehensive campaign is projected to generate 90.3 million impressions throughout the summer months.
General manager Michelle Frost shared her insights on the ice cream market, stating, “Across the overall ice cream market in 2022, our portfolio of Mars branded ice creams achieved significant growth, contributing £11.5m. This growth represents a 41% share of the total ice cream market growth. Over the past five years, Mars has outperformed the category average in terms of growth, surpassing other manufacturers.”
Regarding the Snickers Ice Cream products, Frost emphasizes their popularity and their role in this campaign. She explains, “Our Snickers Ice Cream products are among our best-selling offerings. We view this campaign as an opportunity not only to engage our loyal brand enthusiasts through mainstream media, but also to introduce Snickers Ice Cream to a younger audience through social media channels, especially our collaborations on TikTok.”
