HeyLO! has unveiled a major redesign of its packaging alongside the launch of new product offerings. This initiative marks a pivotal moment in the company’s commitment to expanding its distribution in 2024 and enhancing the low-carb and keto movements.
In collaboration with No Biscuits and The Tribe agencies, HeyLO! emphasizes a vibrant new look while introducing exciting items such as brownie bars and flatbreads. These additions provide customers with innovative ways to enjoy indulgent yet healthier baked goods.
No Biscuits Agency, renowned for its branding expertise with companies like Coca-Cola and Wildfarmed, played an essential role in redefining HeyLO!’s visual identity. Their “regen creative” approach blends bold visuals with modern design, ensuring HeyLO! stands out on shelves while capturing the brand’s dynamic personality and transformative mission.
Flo Heiss, co-founder of No Biscuits, highlighted the partnership, stating, “the key challenge was creating a logo design that captured the spirit of HeyLO!: fun, confident, and full of vitality while ensuring it communicated the quality and authenticity that consumers expect from this deeply trusted brand. We trawled through years of customer feedback and time and time again, HeyLO! was described as ‘life-changing’, so we knew we had to bring this energy into the new look.”
Additionally, The Tribe, a female-owned strategic branding agency based in Manchester with a portfolio that includes Quaker and Dr. Oetker, implemented the design across the complete product range. The new packaging is set to disrupt the typical shelf presentation, combining boldness with simplicity to convey a clear and relatable message to today’s health-conscious consumers.
As part of its evolution, HeyLO! is launching four new and improved products, bringing its total range to an impressive 17 lines. The new keto-friendly Brownie Bars, available in Choco, Ginger, and Orange flavors, offer a high-fiber, low-sugar, vegan, and gluten-free alternative. This means customers can indulge their sweet tooth without compromising their low-carb diets. Recognizing the versatility demonstrated by its loyal followers, HeyLO! is transitioning pizza bases to flatbreads to highlight their multiple uses.
The low-carb movement continues to gain momentum, as evidenced by the #keto hashtag, which has amassed over 10.3 billion views on TikTok and more than 21 million on Instagram.
“It’s not just a new look but a truer reflection of us as a brand. We’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and finally feel our bold new look and even bigger range reflects the energy and support we offer our dedicated community – delicious food that keeps them on track, whilst making them smile!” said Heidi Normanton, founder of HeyLO!. “By continuing our mission to create low-carb options that genuinely taste and satisfy just like their high-carb counterparts, we’re proving the choice doesn’t have to be a sacrifice, and they can have their life back by making these small switches.”
The ‘Made in the UK’ label on most of the range highlights the brand’s commitment to local manufacturing in the North West and Yorkshire. Additionally, the ‘Buy Women Built’ logo underscores HeyLO!’s strength as a female-founded company that supports this essential movement.
